Ali Siamaki, Ph.D., is a Senior Business Development Manager in Mining and Construction at GKM Consultants in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. With a strong passion for the intersection of technology and sustainability, Ali has focused his recent efforts on providing intelligent solutions for monitoring the health of critical infrastructure and mining assets, which includes tunnels, bridges, buildings, slopes, tailings, and more. Through continuous asset monitoring, he empowers owners and stakeholders to make well-informed decisions, ultimately enhancing safety and sustainability. Ali brings a wealth of experience to his role, with a background that includes positions at Hoskin Scientific Limited and Aecon Group Inc. He holds a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Mining and Mineral Engineering from Amirkabir University of Technology - Tehran Polytechnic and has also been a Visiting Scholar at the University of Toronto, specializing in Blasting, Numerical Analysis, and Slope Stability.
